The Trojans fell into a 5-0 hole before calling a timeout … out of the timeout TNU went on a 3-0 run … both teams traded one to two-zero runs before UF went on a 3-0 run at 14-10 to make it 17-10 which kept the first set out of the Trojans reach … after both teams took a pair of points to begin the second set, UF used a 3-0 run to lead 5-2 early in the second set … leading 10-5 the Oilers went on a 4-0 run to lead 14-5 and force another TNU timeout … out of the timeout UF took the first point before TNU went on a 3-0 run to cut it to 16-8 … UF protected their set lead and took the second set 25-13 … the Trojans claimed the first point of the third set, but it was all Oilers from there … UF went on a 12-0 run to put the third set out of reach … the Trojans got their second point off an Oiler service error, but UF used a 5-1 run to lead 17-3 … after a 4-2 run UF led 21-5 … the Trojans claimed four more points, but the Oilers finished off the match with a kill, 25-9.
