NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (3-10, 0-4 G-MAC) lost a Great Midwest Athletic Conference game in three sets (16-25,12-25,16-25) to University of Findlay (11-1, 4-0 G-MAC) on Friday at Trojan Fieldhouse.

The first set had UF up 8-4 before they went on a 5-1 run to go up 12-5, Findlay ended the set on another 5-1 run for a 25-16 win … with Oilers up 5-3 in the second set, they managed a 9-1 run to give them a 14-4 lead, eventually winning 25-12 victory … in set three a 9-1 run turned a 9-6 advantage for the Oilers to an 18-7 lead, UF won 25-16 for the three-set sweep

Claire Reinthaler (SR/Heyworth, IL) led the way for the Trojans with a .125 hitting percentage while also adding a team high six kills …  Macee Bingham (FR/Safford, AZ) led with 12 digs and Miranda Bingham (SR/Safford, AZ) had nine assists

Trevecca hit -.038% (23 K, 27 E, 104 TA) and led in blocks and in the team category … Findlay hit .356% (38 K, 6 E, 90 TA) … Findlay hit .393 in the first set ... it is the first meeting for the two teams in volleyball
