Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca men's soccer team (1-1) lost 3-2 at the Trojan Soccer Complex to the University of Southern Indiana (2-0) after holding a 2-1 edge.

Trevecca and Southern Indiana are now tied 1-1 in the all-time series. Trevecca visits Cedarville University on Thursday for the first G-MAC match of the year at 6PM. Trevecca takes on Ohio Valley to complete the road trip on Saturday at 2:30 PM. Trevecca is 0-8-1 all-time versus the Yellow Jackets. Trevecca is 4-2-1 versus OVU. The Fighting Scots have claimed the last two meetings, both last season in Vienna, WV.

Trevecca scored the games first goal at 37:33 when Kevin Pierce took a pass from Jeremiah Wright and found the back of the nets for a 1-0 Trojan lead. It is the first career goal for Pierce.

Sean Ricky got the unassisted goal for USI to level the match at 1-1 at 50:32.

Trevecca pulled ahead 2-1 at 56:41 when Danny Martinez scored after an assist from Nicolas Reinhard.

Trevecca held off the Screaming Eagles until another freshman, Drew Albert, leveled the match again at 2-2 with a goal at 75:50.

Justin Brooks scored the game winner for the Screaming Eagles at 84:48.. Trevecca turned up the pressure again over the final 5:12, but could not secure the equalizer.

Southern Indiana outshot Trevecca 22-9 overall and 11-6 in on-goal opportunities.

Tyler Delgado produced seven saves while allowing three second half goals for the Screaming Eagles. It is his first loss and second career start.Â
