NASHVILLE - Trevecca Nazarene University baseball (6-8) lost 6-3 to the University of North Alabama (12-4) on Wednesday at Jackson Field.

Trevecca will host No. 16 Grand Valley State University Lakers (6-4) on Friday at 6 p.m. and Hillsdale College Chargers (3-5) on Saturday for two games beginning at Noon.

Trevecca scored two in the bottom of the second for a 2-0 advantage, but the visiting Lions turned two Trojan errors in the third into a three-run inning and a 3-2 lead. Trevecca's Nick Kristinus (FR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) hit his first career home run in the fourth to tie the game at 3-3. In the sixth UNA pulled ahead with a single run and added two more on a two-run Dylan Boston home run in the ninth.

Jarred Jones (FR/Nicholasville, Ky.) started for Trevecca, but in all eight different Trojans pitched in the game. Justin Dailey (SR/Clarksville, Tenn.) took the loss after giving up the go-ahead run in the sixth. Bradley Bailey got the win for the Lions.

Kristinus was the only Trojan with more than one hit. The freshman was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Ethan Hurt (SO/Pegram, Tenn.) and Carter Wiseman (FR/Hendersonville, Tenn.) each had a double.

Trevecca scored its three runs on seven hits and had five errors. UNA had seven hits and one error.
