Box Score NASHVILLE ,Tenn. - Trevecca (13-13-1, 6-4-1 TranSouth) completed a three-game series sweep of TranSouth foe Blue Mountain College (18-16, 6-6) with pair of wins on Saturday. The Trojans won game one 6-4 and scored a run in the bottom of the seventh for a 7-6 win in game two. Trevecca honored about 30 Nashville Firefighters before the first game. The coaching staff hosted several of the firefighters and their sons in a morning clinic. With six wins in their last nine games, the Trojans have now evened their overall record.
Game One Blue Mountain scored a run in the top of the first, but Trevecca answered with three runs in their half of the inning. Each team scored in the second inning with BMC scoring twice to tie the game at 3-3, but Trevecca scored a run in the bottom of the inning for a 4-3 lead. Trevecca scored twice in the third for a 6-3 lead. The Toppers made it interesting with two runs in the sixth, but the Trojans were able to hold the Toppers the rest of the game for the 6-5 win.

Trae Weiss all has two hits to lead the Trojan attack. Weiss was 2-for-3 with two RBI. The Trojans didn't have an extra base hit in the game. In fact the only extra base hit was a double by Topper designated hitter Zac Scott.
Matt Dobbins and Howell each had a stolen base.
Rob Rowland (4-3) picked up the win as the starting pitcher. Rowland pitched five and two-thirds innings allowing eight hits, five runs - one earned, and four walks.
Tyler Vakey closed the game for his first save of the year. Vakey pitched an inning and a third and allowed just one hit and had two strikeouts. Blake Jolley (5-4) started and took the loss for BMC allowing 10 hits, six runs, and a walk while striking out two.
Trevecca scored their six runs with 10 hits and committed three errors. The Toppers scored their five runs on nine hits with two fielding errors.
Game TwoTrevecca broke the ice in game two with a five-run second inning. BMC scored their first run in the third and TNU added a run in the fourth for a 6-1 lead. The Toppers rallied for three runs in the fifth before tying the game at 6-6-6 with another two in the seventh. The Trojans loaded the bases with no one out in the seventh. Blake Rogers from third, giving Trevecca the 7-6 win and a series sweep.
Matt Tidwell was 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and a walk. Rayburn was 2-for-4 with a stolen base, a walk, two runs, and two RBI. Rogers was 1-2 with two runs scored, and a walk.
Josh Parker started for Trevecca and allowed eight hits, six runs - three earned, and three walks with three strikeouts. Parker pitched six and two-thirds before
Ryne Rayburn (2-2) picked up the win by retiring the final batter in the top of the seventh. Hunter Mize (2-1) took the loss for BMC allowing two hits, a run, and two walks while striking out two Trojans in two-thirds of an inning.
Trevecca scored seven runs on 12 hits and had two errors. Blue Mountain scored six runs on eight hits and had two errors.
