Box Score 2 MURRAY, Ky. - The Trevecca Nazarene softball team split a double header with Murray State at Racer Field at Murray-Calloway County Park. The Trojans (28-9, 5-1 TSAC) prevailed in the opening game of the day, 7-3, before falling in defeat to the Racers (11-19) 7-4 in the second. That is how the score remained until the third inning, when again both teams had runs cross the plate. However, the Trojans put up five more in the top of the inning, while MSU was only able to garner one more for the 7-3 final.
All five Trojan runs came after two were out in the inning. The biggest blow was a double from

Puertas was 1-3 with two RBI, a walk, and two runs scored.
Karli Rush was 2-4 with a run scored.
Riley Mashburn (14-4) picked up the win allowing six hits, three runs, two earned, and five walks while striking out eight Racers.
In game two the Racers held the Trojans scoreless until the top of the fifth inning, when TNU tied the game at four off of a walk and three hits. One of the hits was a two-run home run off off the bat of
Megan Hemmingsen, which tied the game. It was Hemmingsen's seventh of the year and Trevecca's 50th. ÂÂ
MSU responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead for good.
Lauren Baker (12-5) took the loss after allowing 10 hits, seven runs, three earned, and four walks while striking out seven. Hemmingsen was 1-3 with a home run, two RBI, and run scored. West and Zeis added doubles.
