LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Trevecca Nazarene University senior pitcher
Ashlan Sensing continues to add to her decorated career, earning 2025 NFCA South Region First Team honors, as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Thursday.
Sensing, who was also named the 2025 Gulf South Conference Pitcher of the Year, capped off her senior season as one of the most dominant arms in the region.
ABOUT ASHLAN SENSING
Sensing, a Dickson, Tenn. native is Trevecca's all-time leader in wins (82), appearances (130), complete games (91), innings pitched (755.1), and strikeouts (728). Nationally, she is also the NCAA Division II active career leader in wins, starts, innings pitched, and shutouts.
In the Trojans' first season in the Gulf South Conference, Sensing ranked third in the GSC in ERA (1.66), second in wins (21), second in complete games (26), and third in innings pitched (210.2). She also held opponents to a .200 batting average—second-best in the league—and struck out 167 batters, ranking third in the conference.
A two-time All-American, Sensing earned NFCA Pitcher of the Week honors twice this season (March 18 and April 15) and was named GSC Pitcher of the Week twice as well (February 4 and March 4). She has also been recognized seven times in her career as Tennessee Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week.
