NASHVILLE – Trevecca Nazarene University baseball placed two players on the 2026 Gulf South Conference All-Conference teams, highlighted by junior designated hitter Cade Martin on the First Team and junior right-handed pitcher Logan Harrell on the Second Team, as announced by the league.
The honors come as Trevecca prepares for the 2026 Gulf South Conference Baseball Championships, opening Friday in Oxford, Ala.
ABOUT CADE MARTIN
Martin, a junior designated hitter from Gallatin, Tenn., delivered one of the top offensive seasons in the Gulf South Conference, leading the league in batting average (.429), slugging percentage (.829), OPS (1.360), and home runs (14), while ranking second in on-base percentage (.531).
He totaled 60 hits, 46 runs, 12 doubles, and 41 RBI across 40 games with 39 starts, posting a .531 on-base percentage and .829 slugging percentage. His production included 18 multi-hit games, seven three-hit performances, and one four-hit game.
Martin recorded two multi-home run games, including a three-home run performance on the road at UAH and a two-home run game at then-No. 1 North Greenville. He also put together a 10-game hitting streak from March 20 to April 4, collecting 16 hits and five home runs during the stretch.
Nationally, Martin ranks among the top hitters in multiple categories, including 13th in slugging percentage and top 30 in batting average and on-base percentage.
His season places him third in program history for single-season batting average and tied for eighth in home runs.
Martin earned multiple honors during the season, including Gulf South Conference Player of the Week, NCBWA South Region Player of the Week, and Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week. He was also named Trevecca's All-Sports Male Athlete of the Year.
ABOUT LOGAN HARRELL
Harrell, a junior right-handed pitcher from Hendersonville, Tenn., anchored the Trevecca rotation and earned Second Team All-GSC recognition after ranking among the conference leaders in multiple categories.
He finished third in the GSC in strikeouts (83) and innings pitched (79.0), tied for third in wins (7), and fourth in ERA (3.53). Harrell also ranked third in batters struck out looking (24).
On the national stage, he ranks 12th in strikeouts and 28th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.37), while his 14 starts place him fifth nationally.
Harrell recorded a complete-game shutout on the road against then-No. 15 West Alabama, allowing two hits with no runs and no walks across 9.0 innings. He also struck out a career-high nine batters in a win against Auburn Montgomery on Feb. 14.
He worked at least 6.0 innings in 10 of his 14 starts and lowered his career ERA to 4.02, moving into the top 10 in program history for pitchers with a minimum of two seasons and 100 innings pitched.
His 83 strikeouts rank sixth in program history for a single season, and his seven wins are tied for fourth.
Harrell earned two Tennessee Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week honors during the season.

OXFORD, Ala. – Trevecca Nazarene University opens the 2026 Gulf South Conference Baseball Championships as the No. 6 seed and faces No. 7 seed Montevallo on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in a single-elimination game at Choccolocco Park.
Trevecca enters the postseason at 30-19 overall and 19-14 in Gulf South Conference play, while Montevallo is 27-23 overall and 18-15 in league action.
The winner advances to the six-team, double-elimination portion of the championship beginning Saturday and will face either No. 1 West Alabama or No. 2 Lee.
