Trevecca Softball | Goad’s First Career Homer Delivers Walk-Off Win for Trevecca

Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team earned a dramatic Gulf South Conference victory Saturday morning, defeating No. 12 West Florida (18-4, 7-2) 6-5 on a walk-off home run at the Trevecca Softball Complex.

The Trojans (6-7, 2-7 GSC) rallied in the final inning to secure the series finale, highlighted by a historic moment from Bailey Goad, who delivered the first home run of her collegiate career — a two-run walk-off blast — after also starting the game in the circle for Trevecca.

Haylie Brooks then closed the game with two scoreless innings, allowing no hits while striking out one to keep the Trojans within striking distance.

Kinderdine opened the inning with a solo home run to right field, trimming the deficit to one run.

After Annalise Mecklenburg reached with a walk and Madison Pruitt entered to pinch run, Bailey Goad stepped to the plate and delivered the game's biggest moment. The Trojan pitcher
