NASHVILLE – Guard
Jordan Gillies of Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball earned first-team recognition on the 2025-26 D2CCA All-South Region Women's Basketball Team, announced by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).
Gillies, a junior from Cookeville, Tennessee, added the regional honor after being named All-Gulf South Conference during the 2025-26 season. She helped lead the Trojans to an 18-11 overall record and a 14-8 mark in Gulf South Conference play, finishing fourth in the league standings and advancing to the GSC Championships semifinals.
Trevecca more than doubled its win totals from the previous season in both overall and conference games after being picked 11th in the GSC preseason coaches' poll.
The Trojans earned the No. 4 seed in the GSC Tournament and hosted a quarterfinal match up inside Trojan Fieldhouse, defeating Lee University before advancing to the semifinals in Huntsville, Alabama, where they faced top-seeded University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Gillies produced one of the most complete seasons in the conference, contributing across multiple categories. She averaged 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while adding 2.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest. She shot 39.5% from the field, 35.7% from three-point range and 78.2% from the free-throw line.
Gillies scored in double figures in 23 games, including eight with at least 20 points. She recorded a season-high 32 points twice, including in Trevecca's season finale against UAH, and posted five double-doubles.
In conference rankings, Gillies finished second in assists and assists per game, second in blocks and blocks per game and third in both total points and points per game. She also ranked among the top five in steals, three-point field goals made and assist-to-turnover ratio.
Gillies set a Trevecca single-season assists record with 119, surpassing the previous mark of 118 set by Christina Curtner. She also tied the program's single-season record for three-point field goals made with 60, matching teammate
Tatum Shaw and breaking the previous mark of 58 held by
Lili Wilken.
Gillies played high school basketball for her mother at Cookeville High School before beginning her collegiate career at Kentucky Wesleyan College. She spent her sophomore season at University of Montevallo before transferring to Trevecca ahead of the 2025-26 season.
During the year, Gillies also earned Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week honors on Jan. 27, 2026.
Under first-year head coach Doug Novack, Trevecca advanced to their conference championships semifinals for the third time in the last four seasons. Trevecca made the G-MAC Conference Championships in their final two years in the league, missing the postseason last year, their first in the Gulf South.
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II South Region schools and conferences select the D2CCA All-Region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections later this month. The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association sponsors the All-Region teams.
