NASHVILLE – The 2025 ABCA / Rawlings NCAA Division II All-South Region teams were announced and Trevecca Nazarene University second baseman Joey Parliment made their list again. This is the third time this season for Parliment to be honored on an all-south region team. Additionally, he has been selected for the NCBWA All-South Region Team and the D2CCA All-South Region Team.
Parliment finished the 2025 campaign with a .369 batting average and increased his power and production to record-setting levels at the plate again this season. So much so, that the native of Gordonsville, Tenn. put his name in the Trevecca NCAA era record book, hitting the most career home runs with his record-setting 39th career homerun in Trevecca's final game of the season.
The second baseman turned in a 1.078 OPS, and scored 53 runs, 72 hits, 10 doubles, 15 home runs, 43 RBI, a .651 slugging percentage, 17 walks, and a .427 on-base percentage.
In all, he led the team in runs, hits, home runs, RBI, and slugging percentage.
In his three-year career wearing Purple and White, he hit .369, with 151 runs scored, 33 doubles, 205 hits, four triples, 39 home runs, 136 RBI, a .654 slugging percentage, 77 walks, a .456 on-base percentage, and 14 stolen bases. His career fielding percentage is .974.
He made an immediate impression in his first season in the Gulf South Conference, ranking in the top eight of six key statistical categories. He finished third in slugging percentage, fifth in home runs, sixth in runs scored, seventh in OPS (On Base % & Slugging %), and eighth in hits and batting average.
