NASHVILLE – For the second straight week, the Tennessee Sports Writers Association's (TSWA)
College Baseball Player of the Week honor went to Trevecca Nazarene University
senior Cade Moore as the Terre Haute, Ind., native came up big,
helping
the Trojans rise of the final 2025 Gulf South Conference Standings and
into the 2025 GSC Tournament
as the sixth seed.
In a do-or-die series on the road at Lee University, Trevecca went 2-1 as Moore hit .538 – 7-for-13 – collecting three runs scored, two doubles, one home run with five total RBI. Moore had a .600 on-base percentage and was 2-for-3 on stolen bases.
The wins not only secured the Trojans one of the top eight positions in the postseason tournament but moved them up to the sixth seed.
