NASHVILLE - After earning 2024 NCBWA All-American and Midwest All-Region honors last year, Trevecca Nazarene University second baseman Joey Parliment is again a National College Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) Division II All-Region selection. This year, he is on the 2025 NCBWA All-South Region Team. The senior infielder made the 2025 NCBWA All-South Region Second Team.
Parliment, a native of Gordonsville, Tenn., hit his 39th career home run in Trevecca's final game of the season, giving him Trevecca's NCAA Division II era career home run record.
Parliment, who had a great run playing at Columbia State prior to his time at Trevecca, also earned D2CCA All-American and All-Region honors as a junior last season and was a Gulf South All-conference selection this year.
Parliment finished the 2025 campaign with a .369 batting average and continued his power and production at the plate. The second baseman turned in a 1.078 OPS, scored 53 runs, 72 hits, 10 doubles, 15 home runs, 43 RBI, .651 slugging percentage, 17 walks, and a .427 on base percentage. He led the team in runs, hits, home runs, RBI, and slugging percentage.
His three-year career on the Hill saw him hit .369, with 151 runs scored, 33 doubles, 205 hits, four triples, 39 home runs, 136 RBI, a .654 slugging percentage, 77 walks, a .456 on base percentage, and 14 stolen bases. His career fielding percentage is .974.
His stats stood tall in the Trojans first season in the Gulf South Conference, ranking in the top eight of six key statistical categories. He finished third in slugging percentage, fifth in home runs, sixth in runs scored, seventh in OPS (On Base % & Slugging %), and eighth in hits and batting average.
