Brett Dingess connected for a grand slam down the left field line. A two-out single from the Railsplitters plated their first run of the day before Trevecca responded with a pair of RBI singles to make it 8-1.
LMU got its second run of the day in the fourth off a double to right center field. A double play brought in another run for Trevecca in the seventh before two ground outs in the eighth scored the final two runs of the day for LMU. The Trojans shut the door in the ninth for a 9-4 win.
