The senior stepped into the starting lineup and immediately made an impact ... playing primarily at left field, he hit .283 on the year ... also split time at the designated hitter position where he went 39-for-138 on the season with six doubles, one triple and five home runs ... drove in 23 runs and scored 23 himself ... started in 39 of the games he played in this season ... collected a .780% OPS with a ,449% slugging percentage and a .331% on-base percentage ... drew 10 walks and stole one base.

Boughton transferred to Trevecca from cross-town Lipscomb University ... saw limited playing time but hit .200 in 19 games ... in 60 at-bats had 12 hits, one double, a home run, and seven RBIs while drawing five walks ... Boughton has also played collegiately at Dallas Baptist University where he hit .273 with 18 hits and seven RBIs under head coach Dan Heefner in 2023 ... transferred to DBU from Weatherford College where he spent his first two collegiate seasons ... at Weatherford, Boughton drove in 71 runs and hit 13 home runs over two seasons ... selected to play in the Texas-New Mexico All-Star Game in 2022 ... was named Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2021 as a freshman.
