Trevecca Men’s Basketball | Jalen Page and Jikari Johnson Named to All-Conference Teams

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Trevecca Nazarene University senior guards Jalen Page and Jikari Johnson have been named to the All-Gulf South Conference First and Second Teams, respectively, after leading the Trojans to their best season in program history.
 
The duo were a scoring force throughout the season, each recording 20+ points in the same game nine times, making them the only teammates in the Gulf South Conference to finish top five in scoring. Both surpassed the 1,000 career point milestone this season. 
 
JALEN PAGE | #14 | 6-4 GUARD – FIRST TEAM
 
Page averaged a career-best 21.8 points per game, along with 5.5 rebounds, and added 67 total assists, 29 steals, and 9 blocks.
 
He finished among the top scorers in NCAA Division II, ranking No. 17 nationally in points per game. Page also ranked No. 25 in three-pointers made per game and No. 27 in three-point percentage while solidifying his reputation as one of the Gulf South's most efficient offensive players.
  • No. 2 in the Gulf South in points per game and three-point field goals made
  • No. 3 in three-point percentage, No. 7 in free throw percentage, and No. 13 in steals
  • Scored a career-high 32 points against nationally ranked Valdosta State (12/19/24)
  • Became the first Trojan in history to make the Gulf South Preseason Team
  • Named Gulf South Player of the Week (12/13/24)
 
Page is on pace to break multiple program records, including:
 
  • Best career scoring average (20.6 PPG) – current record: 17.78 PPG (Devin Whitfield)
  • Best single-season points per game (21.8 PPG) – current record: 20.5 PPG (Devin Whitfield)
  • Career three-point percentage record (41.7%) – current record: 40.5% (Devin Whitfield)
  • Career free throw percentage record (82.7%) – current record: 74.0% (Marquise Rudolph)
 
 
JIKARI JOHNSON | #3 | 6-4 GUARD – SECOND TEAM
 
In his first season with the Trojans, Johnson averaged 20.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 33 assists, 31 steals, and 18 blocks, while shooting an efficient 47.5% from the field, 40.5% from three, and 76.2% from the free throw line. 
A standout transfer from Ferrum College, He made an immediate impact at Trevecca, emerging as one of the top scorers in the Gulf South.
  • No. 3 in the Gulf South in made three-pointers
  • No. 5 in points per game and three-point percentage
  • No. 15 in blocks
  • Scored a career-high 36 points against nationally ranked Valdosta State (2/8/25)
  • 16 games with 20+ points, including three 30+ point performances
  • Gulf South Player of the Week (1/21/25, 2/11/25)
  • Recognized on the GSC Newcomer Watch List
 
Johnson is also closing in on a couple of program records. 
  • Can finish top two in single-season points per game (currently 20.5 PPG, behind Page's 21.8 PPG)
  • Closing in on the program record for free throws made in a season (currently at 115; record is 135 by Byron Sanford)
 
NOT DONE YET 
 
The All-Conference duo will aim to guide the Trojans to their first Conference Semifinals appearance since the 2015-16 season as Trevecca hosts its first-ever NCAA Division II era conference playoff game against No. 5 seed Delta State on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
 
They will meet fellow All-Conferfence inductee Chris Terrell (First Team).
