NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (12-19, 9-12 GSC) finished up a three-game sweep over Christian Brothers University (13-20, 4-17 GSC), at Jackson Field on Saturday afternoon.
Trevecca won the series finale, 12-0, outscoring the Buccaneers 28-8 over the three games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Trojans left little doubt in finishing off their first sweep of the season.
Cade Moore led the first off with a home run for Trevecca who put four past in the opening inning. A pair of home runs in the second helped the home team to a very quick 8-0 lead.
Both sides went quietly in the third and fourth before the Trojans third and final four run frame occurred in the bottom of the fifth.
Brett Dingess went yard for a second time to cap the scoring off at 12-0. CBU did not collect a hit the rest of the way, in fact, the visitors managed just three base hits all afternoon.

Spencer Wilkins (2-2) started and picked up the win. He pitched 6.0 innings and tossed a shutout with just three hits and two walks allowed. He sat down 11 on strikes.
NEXT ON THE DIAMOND
The Trojans stay in Nashville all week as they welcome Lincoln Memorial University (17-14, 7-9 SAC) on Tuesday, April 1 before traveling to crosstown Belmont University (9-18, 1-3 MVC) for a midweek game on Wednesday, April 2.
First pitch with the Railsplitters is set for 2:00 p.m. while the meeting with the Bruins starts at 3:00 p.m. LMU commands a 10-2 advantages in the all-time series while Belmont holds 2-1 edge.
