NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (1-3) picked up its first win of the season against Lane College (0-1) at Jackson Field on Tuesday afternoon.
Trevecca took the game, 14-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
With one gone in the top of the first, the Dragons struck first with a two-run single to left field. Trevecca countered with a run in the bottom of the first when
Noah Boughton collected an RBI reaching via a fielder's choice. The Trojans took the lead in the bottom of the second when
Joey Parliment smacked a ball to second base to score two.
Cole McCallum went yard in the third to make it 6-2 Trojans. Two more runs crossed in the fourth off a balk and a sacrifice fly as Trevecca led 8-2 after four complete.
Lane used an RBI single to center field to plate a run in the top of the sixth before the Trojan bats exploded. A six spot was highlighted by Boughton's three-run shot to right field as the Trojans went on to win, 14-3.

NEXT ON THE DIAMOND
The Trojans head to Jefferson City, Tennessee to play a pair of games on Saturday, February 8 on the campus of Carson-Newman University.
At 11:00 a.m., Trevecca takes on the University of Charleston, WV (0-0) before taking on Carson-Newman (4-0) at 3:00 p.m.
The Trojans and Golden Eagles have never met before in baseball while CNU leads the all-time series with TNU, 4-3.
