HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (4-9, 2-4 GSC) played a midweek non-conference game at Lincoln Memorial University's Lamar Hennon Field on Tuesday afternoon.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES

HOW IT HAPPENED
LMU 15, TNU 5 – F/8
The Trojans bats came out hot in the top of the first. A four spot was comprised of a
Brett Dingess RBI double, followed by
Abbott Lawrence's double to left field. The scoring ceased after
Luke Dymond poked a triple to deep center field to score a pair of runs. After the minimum was faced in both the second and third, the Trojans allowed five runs in the bottom of the third. A pair of singles, a fielding error and a bases loaded walk made way for a 5-4 LMU lead, one it would not relinquish the rest of the way. Another RBI single in the sixth gave the hosts an insurance run before a three spot in the sixth sealed the deal. Trevecca got a single run back in the seventh off a
Brady Maciak single but the damage was done. LMU added to its 9-5 lead with another three runs in the seventh before a third straight frame of three runs ended the game early, 15-5.
