PENSACOLA, Fla. – The 2025 Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (22-8) continues its history-making season, charting new territory yet again. For the first time in the NCAA Division II era, the Trojans have secured the No. 2 seed at their conference championships—earning a double-bye and a direct ticket into the 2025 Gulf South Conference Volleyball Semifinals. Now, after beating No. 3 seed UAH in five sets on Saturday, the Trojans have reached the GSC Finals for the first time in just their second season in the league.
In the finals, Trevecca faces the University of West Florida (26-5), the top seed. The Argonauts reached the finals with a five-set victory over No. 4 seed Lee University.
The winner of the 2025 GSC Volleyball Championship Final receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championships.

This will be the first-ever postseason meeting between the two programs in volleyball.
The Argonauts have a 4-0 lead in the all-time series. UWF has beat the Trojans 3-1 in three of the meetings and swept the Trojans in the the fourth meeting.
2025 GSC VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The championships return to the UWF Field House, hosted by top-seeded West Florida (26-5)—ranked #21 in the latest AVCA Top 25. This marks the 15th time the Argonauts have served as tournament hosts.
Trevecca continues to outperform expectations. Picked sixth in the preseason poll after finishing their inaugural GSC season in 2024 as the No. 6 seed, the Trojans have surged into the league's upper tier, stacking quality wins and positioning themselves for their best postseason opportunity since winning the Great Midwest Championship in 2015 an advancing to the NCAA Midwest Regional.

TREVECCA VOLLEYBALL NCAA ERA POSTSEASON HISTORY
The Trojan volleyball team became the first Trevecca program to earn an NCAA Region appearance by winning the 2015 Great Midwest Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Midwest Regional.
In their twelve years in the Great Midwest, the Trojans reached the G-MAC Tournament Finals three times.
