Women Race to Fifth-Place Team Finish
The Trojan women impressed once again, claiming fifth place out of 23 teams in the Silver division. Trevecca's top five combined for a team time of 1:41:31, averaging 20:18 per runner.
Freshman Hadar Biger led the way, crossing 12th overall in a field of 204 runners with a personal-best 19:47.2. Junior Ashley Alsvig followed closely behind, clocking 19:57.8 for 16th place — her first sub-20 performance of the season. Senior Hope Ilias (20:04.1), freshman Hailey Holloway (20:39.1), and sophomore Ximena Acosta (21:03.5) rounded out the top five, all posting season-best marks.
Head coach Austin Selby praised the women's consistency and toughness on what turned out to be a sweltering early-October morning.
"It was one of the hottest meets we've had this late in the season," Selby said. "But our women showed composure and steady improvement again this week. We're seeing the work pay off at the right time."

Men Battle Through Deep Blue Race
On the men's side, Trevecca placed 33rd in a 41-team Blue Race, logging a team time of 2:15:58 and averaging 27:11 per runner.
Sophomore Caleb Hinson once again paced the Trojans, finishing 52nd overall in a massive field of 417 runners with a time of 26:00.3. Joshua Novotny (26:55.5), Jack Jaeger (27:39.1), John Dalton (27:40.6), and Caden Meeks (27:43.6) formed the rest of Trevecca's scoring five. Several Trojans, including Dalton, Selby, and Blake Lance, notched their best times of the season.
"Our men were a little off up front today, but we're seeing great progress through the middle and back of the lineup," Selby said. "That depth is going to be important as we head into championship season."
