Box Score MEMPHIS – Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball completed a regular season sweep of Gulf South Conference foe Christian Brothers University (8-15, 3-9 GSC) with a five-set victory on the road Tuesday night, 25-21, 21-25, 21-25, 25-22, 16-14. The win helped strengthen the Trojans (16-5, 10-2 GSC) spot in second place in the GSC standings to begin the second half of conference play.

The Trojans take the series lead over the Buccaneers, 6-5, including 2-0 this season and 3-1 as GSC opponents.
MATCH RECAP
Trevecca took a 7-3 lead to start the first set, but CBU scored seven-straight points to reclaim a 19-18 lead. A pair of kills by
Kayla Bullard sandwiched around an ace by
Isabella Sherrod to push the Trojans back in front, 21-19. A pair of CBU errors aided the five-point run, before Bullard's kill established set point. CBU added two points before Bullard's attack clinched the set, 25-21.
CBU fought back to win the next two sets, both at 25-21. Addison Cunnagin and Katilyn Grant combined for 15 kills in the two sets to lead the Trojans.
Trevecca built a 6-1 lead to open the fourth set.
Cunnagin once again led TNU with five kills, and Grant had four, as the Trojans began to pull away, however an eight-point run pulled CBU back into the match, 20-18. Trevecca rallied to win the set, 25-22 on a
Cunnagin kill.
The deciding set was all CBU early, but Trevecca out-scored the Bucs 8-2 to gain its first lead, 8-6. A pair of late attack errors put CBU back in front, 13-12, but
Mackenzie Martin evened the set. After another tie, 14-14,
Cunnagin's kill set up match point. TNU secured the match on a CBU set error, 16-14.

Addison Cunnagin produced a career-high 23 kills and 11 digs for a double-double
· Cunnagin hit .500 and it is her ninth double-double of the season.

Katilyn Grant added 16 kills and four blocks.

Skias Hainline dished up career-high 54 assists, and produced another double-double with 11 digs.
· It is the ninth double-double for Hainline this year, and her tenth 40+ assist match.

Lily Vanbebber led the defense with 26 digs, her seventh 20+ dig match of the year.
· Trevecca produced four season-highs in the match - 65 kills, 62 assists, 83 points, and 12 blocks.

Trevecca returns home Friday, Oct. 24 for the first time in 10 days when it hosts third-place UAH (16-4, 8-3 GSC) at 6 p.m. in Trojan Fieldhouse. The Trojans swept the Chargers, 3-0, in Huntsville, Alabama on Sept. 27. The match will be followed Saturday, Oct. 25 with a 3 p.m. match against the University of Montevallo (9-12, 6-5 GSC). TNU won the first meeting this year, 3-1.
Trevecca is hosting its Trojan Volleyball Alumni Weekend, including highlighting the 2015 team that won the G-MAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Midwest Regional. The 2015 team will be recognized on Friday during the UAH game. The alumni game is schedule for Saturday prior to the Trojans game versus Montevallo. The alumni lunch is schedule between the alumni game and the Montevallo game.
