NASHVILLE – In July 2024, Trevecca Nazarene University selected a quintet of new members for its athletic hall of fame. The five new members are Alexa Rippy Phillips (Golf), Lindsey Stephens Holland (Softball), Kristen Johnson Robertson (Volleyball), Logan Rodgers (Track & Field / Cross Country), and Mike Mills (Baseball).
Alexa Rippy Phillips is one of the most decorated athletes in Trevecca history. Rippy was recruited and played for Trevecca Hall of Fame coach Michael Johnson, before finishing her career playing for David Head.
Lindsey Stephens Holland finished her career as one of the best two-way players (pitcher/hitter) in school history, her accolades include being a two-time All-American and two-time Great Midwest Player of the Year.
Kristen Johnson Robertson was the first Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year helping the Trojan program significantly bridging play from the NAIA to the NCAA Division II. Averaged a triple-double her junior season.
Logan Rodgers is the first Trevecca Track & Field or Cross-Country student-athlete inducted into the Trevecca Athletic Hall of Fame after being the first Trojan to make the NCAA Nationals in Track and Field.
Mike Mills played for some of the best baseball teams in the Elliot Johnson era, setting long standing records, particularly, his 2.12 earned run average as a freshman. He was drafted twice and played for several years in the San Deigo Padres organization.
Everyone is welcome to attend the 2024 Trevecca Hall of Fame induction ceremony as part of the 2024 Trevecca Hall of Fame weekend, the ceremony is on Saturday, November 2 at 10:30 AM.
The Trevecca Athletic Hall of Fame started in 1993.

Averaged 79.9 on the year while twice turning in a round of 75 ... in her first collegiate tournament, the Coastal Georgia Invitational, she shot 76-76=151 and tied for fifth (of 64) ... finished fourth (of 39) at the Trevecca Fall Invitational, shooting 82-80=162 ... at the Lee Flames Shootout she placed fifth (of 47) with a 77-83=160 ... at the NCAA Division l Tennessee State University Big Blue Classic she recorded a round of 75 to finish second (of 23) while competing against three D1 schools ... recorded six rounds in the 70's this year ... at the G-MAC championships she placed second, just one stroke behind the tournament Medalist.

As a junior recorded a triple double in 18 matches, averaging a triple double for the season with 12.09 kills, 15.11 assists, 11.17 digs per match.
First Trojan on the NCCAA All-American and Mid-East all region first team and was awarded the first-ever G-MAC Player of the Year award ... named Scott Jones all-classic team ... a Homestead-Holiday Inn Invitational All-Tournament selection ... recorded 18 triple-doubles on the year ... averaged 3.05 kills per set, 4.07 assists per set and 2.93 digs per set ... was the only player to rank in the top five in six G-MAC statistical categories.

Mike Mills played for some of the best baseball teams in the Elliot Johnson era and set long standing records, in particular his 2.12 earned run average as a freshman. He was drafted twice, and played for several years in the San Deigo Padres organization.
While playing for Elliot Johnson, also a member of the Trevecca Hall of Fame, the first three seasons of the all-time winningest coaches' career on the Hill. Trevecca amassed an 89-30 overall record during his three seasons and had a 30-11 conference mark.
Mills didn't waste time making his mark in the Trevecca record books. In his first season, he set the record for the lowest season earned run average, an ERA that is still fifth best after more than 50 years of Trevecca baseball - including NAIA and NCAA Era's.
All three of his season ERA totals rank in the top 12 of the NAIA era records and top 16 all-time, including the NCAA Era.
On the career front, in just three seasons, he collected 28 wins, tied for fourth best in the NAIA Era.

In his first season, 1980, Mills set the season earned run average record at Trevecca. A record that held for until 2004. His 2.12 ERA that season, is still fourth all-time.
His 2.36 ERA the following season, 1981, was the third best season ERA at the time, and is still seventh all-time.
His 2.69 ERA in 1982 was the fourth best at the time, it is still the 12th best.
Was drafted by the San Deigo Padres in the seventh round during the 1982 Major League Baseball draft. Mills reached the Triple A level, before an injury ended his run.
He started his pro career with the Reno Padres and also played for the Spokane Indians, Beaumont Golden Gators, Las Vegas Stars, Wichita Pilots, Dunedin Blue Jays, Knoxville Blue Jays, and the El Paso Diablos.
Mills was drafted in 1982 as well, in round 32 by the Cincinnati Reds.
