LOUISVILLE - Two Trevecca Nazarene University softball players are recognized with selection to the 2024 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II All-American teams. Kendall Andrews is the NFCA Catcher of the Year and on the 2024 NFCA First Team and Ashlan Sensing is on the NFCA All-American Second Team.

The 2024 Trevecca softball team advanced further than any team during the NCAA era, making their first NCAA Division II Super Regional. The firsts didn't start there, it started with the team hosting its first NCAA Regional and winning that regional. The 47 wins by the 2024 Trevecca team is a new high for the program in the NCAA era and the second most in the Ben Tyree era. 

KENDALL ANDREWS | 2024 NOTES

Andrews hit .387 on the year with 59 runs, 70 hits, 14 doubles, four triples, 15 homeruns, 66 RBI, 51 walks, while successfully stealing 49 of 51 stolen base attempts.

Andrews finished in the NCAA Top 10 in stolen bases, and walks.

Additionally, the Murfreesboro native set a new Great Midwest Athletic Conference season record for walks, RBI, and total bases.

On the career front, Andrews set a new G-MAC mark in RBI, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage.

Her name is etched in the Trevecca career records mark in the NCAA era with to most walks an total bases and tied for the school record in triples. She set the Trevecca season record for RBI, Total Bases, Walks, and XBH.

 ASHLAN SENSING | 2024 NOTES

In the circle, Sensing produced a 1.25 ERA with a 26-9 record with 29 complete games, 12 shutouts, and .90 WHIP over 218 innings pitched with 247 strikeouts and only 35 walks.

In the batter's box, Sensing helped herself and the Trojans with a .349 batting average with four doubles, three homeruns, 37 hits, 16 runs, and 22 RBI.

Sensing finished the NCAA Top 10 in complete games, shutouts, victories, strikeout-to-walk ratio.

The Dickson, Tennessee native set a new G-MAC career mark in shutouts and is on pace for the career record low ERA. 

In the NCAA era, Sensing now owns the record for Shutouts and ERA (active). She broke her own season record for low ERA with a 1.25 ERA.
