OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team finished 12th at their own 2024 Music City Invitational played on the General's Retreat course at the Hermitage Golf Course. The team shot a 299-287=586 and moved up to 12th in the final standings.
 
The one-under-par 287 in the second round is the lowest round of the year. The 586 is the lowest 36-hole total of the season.
 
Three Trojans came in at 147 and tied for 39th overall. Maddox Burton (75-72), Alex Hamm (76-71), and William Moser (73-74) all tied as the low Trojans.
 
Six of the nine Trojans playing recorded a season best 36-hole total.
As a team, the Trojans finished third in the field with 115 pars.
Every Trojan had at least three birdies.

MADDOX BURTON
Fourth par-or-lower round of the year.
Recorded three birdies on Monday, all on the front nine where he shot two-under-par. He end the MCI with six birdies after adding another three on Tuesday.
 
ALEX HAMM
Eighth par-or-better round of the year.
The sophomore finished second in the field with 28 pars, including 17 in the second round.
Hamm finished tied for third in the field with a one-under-par average on the par three holes, good enough for a one-under-total.
Recorded two birdies on Monday and added one on Tuesday for three in the MCI.
  
WILLIAMS MOSER
His 147 is his lowest 36-hole total of the year.
One of two Trojans with four birdies on Monday. He ended the tournament with seven.  
 
CAMERON FLETCHER-SMITH
First par-or-better round of the year.
His 148 total is his lowest 36-hole total of the year.
He had six birdies over the two round, three each day.  
 
JOSH BRELAND
His 148 total is his lowest 36-hole total of the year.
Had five birdies during the tournament, three on Monday and two more on Tuesday.
   
ZANE JOHNSON
One of two Trojans with four birdies on Monday. He added three more on Tuesday for seven on the tourney.
Three of those birdies were on the back nine where he shot even-par.  
   
LUCAS BARRETT
His 36-hole total of 152 is his best of his initial season on the Hill.
Had the Trojans lone eagle on Monday and complimented it with two birdies. Added two more birdies on Tuesday for four over the 36-hole event.
   
BRANDO BISICCHIA
His 76 in the second round is his low round of the year and the 159 is his career low for a 36-hole event.
Had a birdie during Monday's opening round, then added three on Tuesday for a total of four.
   
JACK KENMARE
His second round 69 is his first par-or-better round of the year. The 69 is tied for the third lowest round by a Trojan this season.
His 154 over the 36-hole event is his season best two-round total.
Carded a pair of birdies on Monday, then added five on Tuesday for seven in the tournament.  
 
 NEXT FOR THE TROJANS
2024 Great Midwest Championship Central

The 2024 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships is the 11th for the conference and are April 22-24 at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky.
 
The G-MAC championship features a 54-hole stroke play event, with 36 played on the first day and 18 played on the second day of competition. A final head-to-head medal match play will then be played in the afternoon on the third day between the top two teams to determine a team champion.

Competition will be streamed live on the Great Midwest Digital Network with a complete schedule announced during championship week. 

Trevecca Nazarene has captured seven Great Midwest Men's Golf titles, followed by Findlay, Tiffin, and Ashland with one each. 

The top finishing golfer will be awarded the individual medalist award. The all-conference teams will consist of eight individual finishers and ties at the championship tournament and the eight golfers as determined by a vote of the league's coaches.
