NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University track and field teams finished up their first indoor meet of the season on Saturday at the Vanderbilt Commodore Challenge.
FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS
* Ben Carr set a new school record in the 1000m run with a time of 2:39.58, breaking a record Taylor Flemming set eight years ago.
MEET NOTES
* It is the first time for Trevecca to compete at the Vanderbilt indoor meet since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
* The meet featured a number of NCAA Division I programs from across the southeast and nation like Ole Miss, Murray State, Lipscomb, Belmont, Austin Peay, Indiana, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee Martin, Western Kentucky, Evansville, Tennessee State, Arkansas State, and Illinois.
