Trevecca Women’s Soccer | Trojans Fall Short vs. Montevallo

Box Score NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (0-2-0) took a loss on the Hill against the University of Montevallo (2-0-0).

The Falcons scored the first goal of the game, Avery Campbell scored assisted by Madeline Milby at 27:05 in the first half of the game.

A foul by the Trojans at 27:31 led to a penalty kick for the Falcons, Madeline Milby converted the opportunity making it a 2-0 run for the Falcons.

Trevecca fell behind 0-2 at the intermission. Jenna Rehm put up one first half save to pace the Trojan defense.

The Falcons started the second half off with another goal from Kaeri Ward assisted by Miranda Fragoso at 51:57.

The Falcons not letting up, Marica Miljanovic scored the third goal for the Falcons, assisted by Lainey Farabaugh at 53:51.

The Trojans fighting their way back, Emmanuel College transfer Allie Windom scored her first career goal in Purple and White. Windom found the back of the nets on an unassisted goal at 73:35. Ballie Fiore put up a save on the defensive end in the final seconds of the game at 87:07, ending the game in a 3-1 loss. She had three second half saves for the Trojans defense.

The Trojans return to action Saturday, September 9 (6 PM) against Lee University (0-1).  The Trojans and Flames have played once previously in the NCAA D2 era.
