Box Score CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (1-3-1, 1-0-1 Great Midwest) won their first game of the season 2-1 against Thomas More University (0-4-1, 0-2-0 Great Midwest) at Republic Bank Field.
Thomas More University, a first-year member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, was granted a membership to join NCAA Division II, making them the second G-MAC member in Kentucky. They were ranked sixth in the Great Midwest preseason coaches poll.
The Trojans scored the first goal of the game when
Katelyn Keogh put an assist from
Grace Oliver in the back of the nets at 4:15 of the first. The Trojans were able to stop two Saints shots on goal in the first half. The Trojans led 1-0 at intermission.
Skye Baun scored the game winner early in the second half at 54:50 with an assist from
Isabel Felger.
Both goals, by Keogh and Baun, were their second of the year.
Andela Popovic scored the lone goal for the Saints with less than three minutes remaining, at 87:52. The game result game the Trojans their first win of the season.
Bailie Fiore collected six saves, the Saints had a total of 19 shots, seven on goal.

The Trojans continue Great Midwest play on Thursday, September 21, against Ashland University (5-0, 1-0 Great Midwest). Kickoff with the Eagles is set for 7:00 PM (CT) on the Hill.
