CALERA, Ala. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team opened the season at the University of Montevallo hosted Full Moon Invitational on Monday. The team topped its first round score a year ago at the Full Moon BBQ Invite with a ten over par 294.
Lucas Barrett, a freshman, led the team with a two-under par 69 in his first collegiate round.

TROJAN INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
The two under 69 by Barrett is the lowest Trojan round at the Full Moon since Benjamin Ramos carded a 68 in the first round of the 2021 event.
Another freshman,
Maddox Burton, sits just outside the top ten and a stroke over par.

A year ago, Trevecca shot 302-292=594 at the Full Moon BBQ Invitational at the Timberline Golf Club.
