INDIANAPOLIS – Five Trevecca Nazarene University baseball players are on the 2023 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball All-Conference team. Jack Keele is on the first team, while Joey Parliment, Caleb Marks, and Matthew Hock are on the second team. Bryant Goolsby is on the third team. 

JACK KEELE | Starting Pitcher - Sophomore 

He is 7-2 on the year with a 2.74 ERA. He has five complete games in 12 starts and two shutouts. The sophomore has 57 strikeouts in 72.1 innings pitched and has allowed only 18 walks and nine hit-by-pitch. Opponents are hitting just .225 against him on the season. 

The sophomore was named the Great Midwest Pitcher of the Week on April 24 and the Tennessee Sports Writer's Association Pitcher of the Week on April 25.  

JOEY PARLIMENT | Second Base - Junior 

Parliment is hitting .380 with 44 runs scored, eight doubles, four triples, eight home runs and 29 RBI. His 60 hits and eight home runs lead the team.

The junior was named the Tennessee Sports Writer's Association Player of the Week on May 9.  

The junior is ranked in the top 10 in five Great Midwest categories. 

CALEB MARKS | Starting Pitcher - Sophomore 

Marks has a 4-4 record with three complete games and one shutout. He has 66 strikeouts in 62 innings pitched. He's walked just 15 and hasn't given up any baserunners on hit by pitch. Opponents are hitting .236 against him on the season. 

The sophomore is in the top 10 in seven Great Midwest statistical categories. 

MATTHEW HOCK | Relief Pitcher - Sophomore 

Hock is 3-1 with a 2.82 ERA and six saves. He has struck out 26 batters in 38.1 innings pitched and walked 12 while not allowing any baserunners by hit by pitch. Opponents are hitting .215 against him on the season. 

The sophomore is second in the Great Midwest in saves.
