Box Score 2 COLUMBUS, Ohio.- Trevecca Nazarene University baseball (26-18, 19-9 Great Midwest) traveled to Ohio Dominican University (24-21, 16-12 Great Midwest) and took three of four from the Panthers. On Sunday, Trevecca won in game three in the series, 8-3 (seven innings), then fell in the series finale, 15-14.
Trevecca holds a three-game lead in the Great Midwest South Division with four games to play. Trevecca hosts Tiffin University Thursday and Friday. It will be senior day and the final regular season games of the year. It is also the final home contest for any Trevecca athletic team this season.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES
Trevecca holds a 12-4 lead in the all-time series. The Trojans have won the season series for three consecutive years.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME THREE:
The bats were quiet in game three until the third inning when the Trojans tallied a pair of runs. Joey Parliment and Jacob Lester hit RBI singles into center field to make it 2-0. In the fourth inning, the Panthers got a run on the board.
Joey Parliment struck again in the fifth inning when he hit a two-run homer that scored Henry Mosley to extend the Trojan's lead to 4-1. Josh Griffin later made it 6-1 when he hit a two-RBI single to bring Shawn Wallwork and Jacob Lester home.
In the bottom of the sixth, Ohio Dominican hit a two-run homer to cut the Trojan's lead to 6-3. But a Josh Griffin two-run homer in the seventh put the game away.
GAME FOUR:
The Trojans began game four with an offensive explosion, scoring seven runs in the second inning. It started when Andru Becker hit a two-RBI single; then Becker scored on a Jacob Lester RBI single. Later in the inning, Frankie Carreras hit a three-run home run that brought in Joey Parliment and Jacob Lester. After that, Bryant Goolsby hit a solo homer to give the Trojans their seventh run.
However, in the bottom of the second, the Panthers got their offense going as they scored five runs. Trevecca's bats would go cold as Ohio Dominican's kept going, tallying two runs in the fourth, a run in the fifth, and four runs in the sixth to go up 12-7.
Trevecca began to right the ship in the seventh inning as they scored three runs to get within 12-10. Josh Griffin would score on a throwing error, then Andru Becker hit a two-RBI double. In the eighth inning, they kept going as they retook the lead on a Henry Mosley three-run home run that scored Paxton Hughes and Bryant Goollsby to make it 13-12. In the ninth inning, Shawn Wallwork hit an RBI single to give the Trojans an insurance run.
However, Ohio Dominican scored three runs in the ninth to take the game on a walk-off.
CIRCLE AND BOX NOTES GAME THREE:
- Joey Parliment went 3-4 with a home run, three RBIs, and one run scored.
- Jacob Lester went 3-4 with an RBI and one run scored.
- Josh Griffin went 2-4 with a home run, four RBIs, and one run scored.
- Mason Wells (5-0) allowed only three runs on four hits and struck out three batters in 5.1 innings pitched.

UP NEXT
The Trojans will wrap up the regular season with a four-game series against Tiffin University (13-30, 5-21 Great Midwest) starting Thursday and Friday at 2:00 PM. The Trojans have the all-time series lead 6-4. But Tiffin won four out of the last five meetings.
