FINDLAY, Ohio - The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (6–7-5, 6–3-5 Great Midwest) was defeated by the University of Findlay (11–4-4, 11-2-2 Great Midwest), 0-3, at DeHaven Field.
The Great Midwest Women's Soccer Quarterfinals for the Trojan's was goalless until 15:28 when Findlay's Sydney Noble scored.
Numerous shots were made by Findlay until they scored their second goal at 31:18 which was made by Madison Misna.
Nearing the end of the first period (44:21) Findlay's Reason Smith scored a third goal for the Oilers, making the score 0-3. The fist period witnessed seven shots by the Oilers where all seven were on goal. Trevecca's goalkeeper,
Bailie Fiore had 4 saves.
Despite numerous shot attempts in the second period, no goals were made. Trevecca made one shot attempt and the Oilers made 13, where 10 were on goal. In total,
Bailie Fiore had seven saves in the net.
The loss to the Oilers marks the end of the 2023 season for the Trojans.
