ST. ALBANS, Mo. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team completed play at the Midwest Regional hosted by the University of Missouri St. Louis at the Country Club of St. Albans on Tuesday.
Trevecca carded a 308-309-313=930 as a team and were led individually by Alex Hamm who carded his second 69 of the season in the first round. Hamm shot a 69-79-76=224 to finish tied for 17th.

TROJAN INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
Alex Hamm
The three under 69 in the first round is the third par-or-better round of the year for Hamm. He shot even par once in each of the first two events of the season. This is his first under-par round of the season.
Hamm was at 148 through the first two rounds, tying for his best 36-hole total of the year.
Hamm had eight (8) birdies overall and carded five birdies in the first round, one in the second, and two in the final round.
Alex Hamm excelled on the par four holes with an average of 4.10 (three-over) which ranked him tied for third best in the field.
Cameron Fletcher-Smith
In his first round of the year, Fletcher-Smith, a transfer from McKendree University, shot the second-best round for the team in the first round.
Fletcher-Smith, who carded a 156 through 36-holes, had three birdies in the second round and one in the third giving him four in his first event of the year.
Maddox Burton
Burton had two birdies in the first round and another two in the second round to fuel his two-over 74. He added four in the final round for a tournament total of seven.
Zane Johnson
Johnson sank three birdies in the opening 18 holes and another in the second round. He added three more on Tuesday for a total of seven for the event.
Johnson made his mark on the par three holes averaging 2.92 (one-under-par) which tied him for sixth best in the field.
William Moser
Moser drained two birdies in the first round and one in the second. He dropped two birdies on Tuesday pushing his tournament total to five.

TROJAN TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
The team collectively had 32 birdies in the tournament.
UP NEXT
The team finishes up the Fall schedule with a trip to The Buddy hosted by Murray State University on Oct. 16-17 at the Miller Memorial Golf Course.
