Box Score 2 NASHVILLE– No. 8 (NCBWA) Trevecca Nazarene University baseball (27-7, 13-5 Great Midwest) swept Friday's doubleheader against Lake Erie College (3-22, 1-13 Great Midwest), winning 13-2 in game one and 11-10 (seven innings) in game two at Jackson Field.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES
Lake Erie has the all-time series lead 5-6 since entering the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in the 2017-18 season. The Trojans won both games last season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE:
The Trojans got out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning. Braden Odom started the scoring with a three-run home run into right-center field. Later in the inning, Bryant Goolsby hit a sacrifice fly out, bringing Henry Mosley. Then in the third, the scoring continued when Braden Odom reached first base on an error by Lake Erie, which brought in Roland Ryan. Then with two out, Zeke Lecomte hit a single, which scored Braden Odom to make it 6-0. The Trojans exploded for five runs in the fourth inning, starting with Shawn Wallwork, who hit a single to bring Logan West in for the score. Wallwork scored later in the inning on a wild pitch. Roland Ryan scored on an error by Lake Erie, then David Milam hit a single into left field, which brought Bryant Goolsby and Henry Mosley to make it 11-0. In the fifth inning, the Trojans added two more runs to extend their lead to 13-0. Lake Erie attempted a late rally but only got two runs.
GAME TWO:
The Trojans came out strong in a high-scoring game two by scoring five runs in the first inning. Jordan Jackson hit a triple that brought in Shawn Wallwork. Braden Odom followed that up with a single to bring in Jordan Jackson. Henry Mosley then hit a three-run home run to cap off the first inning of scoring. Roland Ryan hit a double in the second inning that scored Jordan Jackson to extend the Trojan's lead. Lake Erie chipped away at their deficit by scoring three runs in the third to make it 6-3. Jordan Jackson singled to score Zeke Lecomte in the bottom of the third inning. Following that, Roland Ryan was walked with the bases loaded, which scored David Milam to make it 8-3. Lake Erie fought back with three runs scored over the fourth and fifth innings to come within one run. But the Trojan's offense got going again in the bottom of the fifth as Braden Odom hit his second home run of the day, which extended the Trojan's lead to 11-7. Lake Erie scored three runs in the seventh inning, but Trojan pitcher Jack Keele struck out three batters in a high-pressure situation with multiple runners on base to preserve the win.

- Braden Odom went 1-4 with a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
- Roland Ryan went 2-3 with two doubles and four runs scored.
- Zeke Lecomte went 1-2 with two RBIs.
- Justin Campbell (8-1) pitched seven innings and did not allow a run on only four hits while striking out seven batters.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE- GAME TWO
- Roland Ryan went 2-2 with two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored.
- Braden Odom went 2-3 with a home run, four RBIs, and two runs scored.
- Henry Mosley went 1-4 with a home run, three RBIs, and one run scored.
- Caleb Marks (3-1) pitched 4.1 innings and allowed six runs on six hits while striking out five batters.
