Then, it was a part of a 19-2 win in the Great Midwest Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE:
After the Trojans held the visitors scoreless in the top of the first, Trevecca scored 10 runs, sending 15 men to the plate. Bryant Goolsby started the scoring with an RBI single. David Milam's RBI double and an RBI single from Henry Mosley followed. Jordan Jackson broke the game open with a three-run triple with two out for a 6-0 Trojan lead. Jackson scored when Braden Odom hit his record-tying 21st home run, making it 8-0 TNU. Next, David Milam hit a two-run single, his second hit of the first inning, putting the Trojans up double-digits. In the second inning, Logan West hit a two-run home run to extend the lead. The Trojans added two runs during the third and fourth innings before Cedarville got on the board in the fifth inning as they cut their deficit to 15-2. Both teams traded runs late, including Tarver Hayslip's solo home run to make it 17-4. Cedarville attempted to rally late, but the Trojan's lead was too much.
GAME TWO:
Cedarville struck first in game two as they got a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Then, they extended their lead to 3-0 in the fourth inning as the Trojan's offense struggled to get going. But in the bottom of the fourth inning, Trevecca got momentum on their side. Shawn Wallwork and Henry Mosley hit solo home runs to cut the Cedarville lead down to 3-2. Wallwork's blast was to straightaway centerfield, launching over the 402 sign. Mosley reached 10 home runs on the season, the fourth Trojan to reach double-digit home runs. The Trojans tied the game later in the sixth inning when Logan West singled to score David Milam. But Cedarville reclaimed the lead with a solo homer in the top of the eighth. In the bottom of the eighth inning, the Trojans got down to their last out of the inning when Jordan Jackson hit a single that brought Zeke Lecomte home to retie the game 4-4. The Trojans nearly ended the game in the ninth, but Shawn Wallwork was ruled to be tagged out at home forcing extra innings. In the 10th inning, the Trojans loaded the bases but could not capitalize. Then in the 11th inning, Cedarville took the lead on two solo home runs and a two-run blast for an 8-4 lead. Henry Mosley's solo home run, his 11th, was all the Trojans could muster in the bottom of the frame.
