Box Score JACKSON, Tenn. – The No. 4 (College Baseball Newspaper) Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (16-3, 3-1 Great Midwest) beat former TranSouth Conference foe Union University (8-10), 3-2, at Fesmire Field on Wednesday.
Trevecca is No. 4 in the College Baseball Newspaper poll and No. 6 in the NCBWA poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Henry Mosley homered in the top of the second to open the scoring. The Bulldogs answered with a run in their half of the inning to level the game at 1-1 through two innings. The Trojans took advantage of a Union error in the third, pushing Shawn Wallwork across on a Roland Ryan groundout. In the Fifth, the Trojans scored what proved to be the game-winning run. Henry Mosley continued to deliver with an RBI double, scoring Roland Ryan all the way from first. Blake Barrett homered in the eight for the Bulldogs, it was his second of the game. Jonathan Burns (1-0) got the win in relief of starter Cole Alsup. Jack Keele picked up his fourth save on the year, pitching around a walk for a scoreless ninth.

The Trojans host Ohio Dominican University (6-9, 1-3 Great Midwest) Saturday and Sunday at Jackson Field for what will be their home Great Midwest opener. Trevecca is 9-2 versus the Panthers, winning the last six meetings. The Panthers lost three of four against Tiffin University in their opening series while Trevecca took three of four from Kentucky Wesleyan in their first conference weekend.
