Box Score 2 OWENSBORO, Ky. – No. 4 (CBN)/ No. 7 (NCBWA) Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (14-2) swept Kentucky Wesleyan College (0-14) in Saturday's double-header, 7-1 in game one, and 8-3 (seven innings) in game two, while on the road.

The Trojans have the all-time series lead 18-12. The teams split last year's series 3-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE:
The Trojans got off to a hot start in the first inning. Braden Odom hit a two-run home run that also brought in Jordan Jackson. After the hot start, neither team could get any offense going. Trojan pitcher Justin Campbell kept the Panthers in check, only allowing four hits and one run throughout the game. Then in the seventh inning, while pinch-running for Bryant Goolsby, Brandon Hauswald advanced to second base on a fielding error by the Panthers, then to third on a balk. He would score on a wild pitch to extend the Trojan's lead to 3-0. In the eighth inning, Shawn Wallwork hit a single that brought David Millam home from second base. In the ninth inning, the Trojans put the game away when Roland Ryan hit a solo home run to lead off the inning. Then Henry Mosely hit a double. Mosely advanced to third on a wild pitch, and Paxton Hughes hit a single to bring Mosely home. Hughes was brought home on a ground out, making the score 7-0. The Panthers scored a late run, but it was not enough.
GAME TWO:
The Panthers got on the board first in game two on a solo home run. The Trojans tied the game in the third inning as Logan West scored on a passed ball. Kentucky Wesleyan took back the lead by scoring two more runs in the third inning. From then on, it was all Trojans. In the sixth inning, Trevecca scored five runs. Brandon Hauswald scored on a Roland Ryan single. Henry Mosley tied the game on a single into right-center field by Zeke Lecomte. Roland Ryan ran home on a sacrifice fly-out, followed by a Logan West double that scored Zeke Lecomte. West would be brought in on a single by Shawn Wallwork. The Trojans put the game out of reach as Andru Becker hit a two-run home run into right-center field, bringing Braden Odom. The game would be called in the seventh inning.

The Trojans wrap up the series against Kentucky Wesleyan Monday, starting at 12:00 PM. They will travel to Jackson on Tuesday, where they will take on Union University (8-9) at 6:00 PM.
