Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (7-3-4, 5-2-3 Great Midwest) traveled to Walsh University (6-5-2, 4-4-2 Great Midwest) and tied 1-1 on Thursday afternoon.
THE SERIES
The series is even now at 4-4-2. The teams tied 1-1 in the matchup earlier this season at Trojan Soccer Complex on October 6th.
THE MATCH
The teams would trade shots in the first half, with both goalkeepers stopping all shots on goal. Walsh and Trevecca tallied four shots, with Walsh getting three on goal and the Trojans getting two on goal. The Trojans had a 2-1 advantage in corner kicks after the first 45 minutes.
The offense ramped up in the second half. Trevecca broke through in the 71st minute when Abbigail Legg scored off a penalty kick. But then Walsh responded a few minutes later with a goal of their own to tie it at 1-1. Goalkeeper Delayna Holman made five saves in the second half as Walsh tried to take the lead. But time would run out before either team could take the lead.

Trevecca will face Malone University (1-7-3, 0-6-3 Great Midwest) on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Pioneer Soccer Field.
