THE MATCH
Lee picked up an early goal from Hannah Lanter from 17 yards out at 12:39. The Flames had numerous opportunities, but Layne Goodbread and the Trojan defense produced four saves in the opening 45 minutes to keep the Trojans in the contest.
Trevecca turned up the pressure in the final 45 minutes, and it was Lee goalkeeper Jacqueline Burns producing the saves.
Lee held up to the pressure and tallied two late goals in the final eight minutes for a 3-0 win. Tatum Miller scored a one-on-one against Goodbread in the 82nd minute. Riley Henry added a tally in the 89th minute.
DETAILS
Goodbread had a total of five saves for the Trojans. The Trojans pressure in the second half produced seven corner kicks and the Trojans had a 8-7 edge in corners on the game. Lee had nine fouls, six in the second half when the Trojan turned up the heat. Trevecca had just three fouls, all in the first half.
