SERIES HISTORY
Trevecca is 33-4 in the all-time series with Cedarville. With the two wins on Friday, the Trojans have won the last 21 consecutive games in the series. The last win for the Yellow Jackets came at Prasco Park at the NCCAA National Championship in 2013-2014.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GM 1
Cedarville led 5-2 through five innings. In the top of the fifth Trevecca responded with four runs in the top of the sixth. The rally was ignited by Joseph McNamee's first home run of the year, a two-run blast. The Trojans were not finished as Braden Odom and Shawn Wallwork followed with solo shots for back-to-back-to-back home runs. Not to be outdone, John O'Dwyer hit a three-run bomb as part of an eight-run ninth inning.
GM 2
The Trojans built a 6-0 lead with two runs in the first, one in the second, and three more in the third. Cedarville cut the lead in half with a three-run third. Trevecca added a run in the fourth and four in the seventh. Tiger Cox (4-0) got his second win of the day with four innings of relief. Cox allowed just one hit and struck out two. Chase Haley started, but following the rain delay he did not return.

GM 1
Trevecca produced 14-hits. Shawn Wallwork was responsible for four of those, going 4-6 with two runs, five RBI, a walk, and in addition to this home run, he added a double. Braden Odom went 2-6 with two runs scored, four RBI, a stolen base, a walk, and a double. Chad Marsh stole two bases with two runs scored and two walks.
Tiger Cox (3-0) picked up the win with 1.2 innings of work in relief. Cox didn't allow a hit, a run, nor did he walk a batter.
GM 2
Braden Odom and Trey Vanderpool had two hits apiece. Andru Becker, Daniel Lucas, and Shawn Wallwork each had two RBI. Odom had the only extra-base hit, a double. Odom also had another stolen base. Shawn Wallwork, Trey Vanderpool, and Chad Marsh also picked up a stolen base.
WHAT'S NEXT
Trevecca concludes their regular season schedule with a pair of games Saturday at Cedarville University (17-17, 14-12 Great Midwest). With a win on Saturday or a Kentucky Wesleyan loss at Tiffin University, the Trojans will secure the regular-season Great Midwest championship and the top seed at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships May 12-15 in Mason, Ohio at Prasco Park.
