Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University Women's Soccer team (4-5-2) fell into an early hole in their Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) quarterfinal match at third-seeded Cedarville University (7-2-1), and the Trojans were unable to get out of the hole, falling 2-1 in their final match of the 2020-21 season.

THE SERIES
The loss for Trevecca levels the all-time series between the two conference rivals. Each team has seven victories against the other, and there have been three draws in a series that dates back to 2012 when the two schools helped found the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
THE MATCH
Cedarville jumped out early, netting a goal in the 13th minute, and 20 minutes later, the Yellow Jackets added a second tally. At intermission, Cedarville held the lead 2-0. Trevecca had a chance to get on the board early in the second frame when in the 47th minute when the Trojans were awarded a penalty, but the shot from Danyel Joy was stopped. Trevecca kept up the pressure, and in the 69th minute, Annie Warner got the Trojans on the scoresheet, as she cashed in a feed from Abbigail Legg to cut the margin to 2-1.

Delayna Holman took the loss in goal after turning back three Yellow Jacket shots during the 90 minutes.
THE RECORD BOOKS
The Trojans completed their fourth season under head coach Kelsey Fenix Cameron. The team fought through the postponement of its fall season and faced a modified spring schedule. The team fared better on the road, going 3-2-0 while going 1-3-2 at home.
Abbigail Legg led the team with four goals and nine points. Danyel Joy finished second with eight points. Joy led the team with two game-winning-goals and four assists. Madison Carby helped on three goals to finish second in assists.
Isabel Felger, Makena Schlosser, Danyel Joy, and Tracy Roy each tied for the second-most goals with two apiece.
Delayna Holman went 4-5-2 in goal with two shutouts with a 1.29 goals-against average.
