Box Score 2 EASTLAKE, Ohio – In a doubleheader played at Classic Park, a local minor league facility near Lake Erie College, the Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (19-7, 14-2 Great Midwest) took both ends of a Great Midwest Conference doubleheader from the Storm (4-22, 2-18) on Monday, 11-5 and 6-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GM 1
Lake Erie struck first in the first inning, plating four runs in the first on a three-run home run and an RBI-single to left.
Shawn Wallwork singled in Braden Odom for the Trojan's first run in the third inning. The Trojans added two more in the inning on RBI singles from John O'Dwyer and Joseph McNamee.
A Storm solo-homerun in the bottom of the third push LEC to a 5-3 lead.
Ethan Harrison drew a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch in the sixth forced in a run cutting the Storm lead to 5-4.
The score remained the same until the top of the ninth when the Trojans erupted for seven runs and an 11-5 advantage. The Trojans used four this and benefitted from a Storm error.
The big hit came off the bat of Joseph McNamee when he singled to score Jon Anderson and Bryan Goolsby.
GM 2
Trevecca scored four-first inning runs to establish a lead they would not relinquish.
A double by John O'Dwyer and Bryan Goolsby paced the first-inning rally.
Braden Odom drove in a fifth-inning run on a ground out that capped the scoring.

Five pitchers took the mound for the Trojans, but Tyler Koprowski (1-3) picked up his first win of the season pitching a complete inning that incluced three strikeouts.
Joe McNamee went 4-6 at the plate with a double, a run scored, and three RBI.
GM 2
Alex Clouthier (2-1) earned the win in the seven-inning affair, pitching five innings of three-hit shutout ball with four strikeouts.
WHAT'S NEXT
Trevecca welcomes the University of Findlay (10-17, 8-12 Great Midwest) to the Hill for a weekend series beginning on Friday (April 23).
The following weekend, first-place Kentucky Wesleyan College (18-6, 15-1 Great Midwest) visits for what could be the regular-season deciding series. Game one on Saturday serves as senior day.
