Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University Women's Soccer team (4-3-2, 4-2-2 Great Midwest) won at Walsh University Cavaliers (4-4, 4-4 Great Midwest), 2-1, today at Larry Staudt Field.
The win moves the Trojans into a tie for the most points in the conference, 14. Ohio Dominican also has accumulated 14 points.

THE SERIES
The Cavaliers lead the series 4-2 now, but the Trojans broke a 2-game win streak for the Cavs in the series.
THE MATCH
The Trojans struck first, with a goal from Isabel Felger in the 33rd minute and Danyel Joy scored the game-winner in the 39th minute. Hannah Stein added tension for the rest of the second period with her goal for the Cavaliers just 16 seconds after the halftime intermission.
Despite great pressure from the home team, Delayna Holman and the Trojan defense held the line for a crucial road victory.
DETAILS
Delayna Holman faced two shots on goal and several other near misses. Walsh produced a total of 11 shots in the match while Trevecca sent 10 towards the Cavs keeper, Shelby Elder.
WHAT'S NEXT
The regular-season finale will be back in Nashville on Thursday, April 15 with a 4:30 PM kickoff against Ohio Valley University. The Fighting Scots are 3-3-1, all in the conference, on the year.
The Great Midwest Championships is set to begin on April 24.
