Trevecca Softball | Trojans Sweep Walsh on the Road, Win 11th Straight

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (12-6, 4-0 Great Midwest) completed the two-game sweep of the Walsh Cavaliers (9-7, 0-2 Great Midwest) 5-1 and 9-3 on the road on Saturday, to remain unbeaten early on in the conference slate and win its 11th straight game.

Saturday's two wins shortly followed a two-game sweep of Malone on Friday and handed Walsh two losses in its first Great Midwest games of the season. The 11-game win streak is the most consecutive wins by a Trojan team since the 2014-2015 team - a group that advanced to the NCAA Midwest Region Finals - won 12 in a row. That is the NCAA DII Era record for consecutive wins at Trevecca.

The all-time Trevecca softball consecutive games win streak goes to the 2004-2005 team that won the first 26 games of the season.
