Box Score NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University Women's Soccer team (2-1-1, 2-0-1 Great Midwest) settled for a 1-1 double-overtime tie with the University of Findlay (1-0-1, 1-0-1 Great Midwest) on Saturday at the Trevecca Soccer Complex.

THE SERIES
Findlay leads the series 1-0-3, yes this is the third tie in the four-game series between the two schools. It is the second 1-1 tie. The two tied 2-2 in the first-ever meeting in the 2017-2018 season. Findlay won the last meeting, 2-0, in the fall of 2019.
THE MATCH
The Trojans scored early on a goal from its lone senior, Lexie Hayes, on Senior Day. Annie Warner fed Hayes who looped the ball over the head of Oilers keeper Kennedy Slovak (1-0-1) to put the Trojans up 1-0 in the eighth minute.
The tally held until Sydney Demyan scored unassisted in the 70th minute to tie the game. Neither team could find the net through regulation and two overtimes.
The Oilers outshot the Trojans 20-15 and had an 8-7 advantage on shots on goal. The Oilers also produced a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
DETAILS
Delayna Holman saved eight shots on goal in the draw. Kennedy Slovak made seven saves in goal, playing all 110 minutes.
