Box Score NASHVILLE - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team (2-1) triumphed in overtime 92-83, against Birmingham Southern College (1-2) on Wednesday night in Trojan Fieldhouse.
The Trojans were led by Josh Price who scored 24 points, including 10 points in overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Birmingham Southern stormed out to a 14-2 lead in the first three minutes of the game. However, the Trojans rallied with a 12-0 run highlighted by Miguel Williams and Josh Price who had six and four points respectively during the stretch. The Trojans built a six-point lead that they maintained throughout much of the rest of the half. Trevecca went into the break with a 41-39 lead. The Trojans shot 54% from the field making 18 of their 33 shots and made 27% from 3-point line in the opening frame. Trevecca had control of the paint, scoring 28 points inside while the Panthers were limited to 10. The Trojans maintained their pace in the second half going on a 17-5 run to open. The Trojans lead by as many as 13 points early in the second half, but Birmingham Southern kept themselves in the game. They went on a run late in the half and tied the game 77-77, done in large part by shooting 50% from 3-point range. Despite their efforts to close the game, the Trojans and Panthers played an extra five minutes After giving up the first bucket, Josh Price pulled the Trojans away with a 3-pointer and a bucket to give the Trojans a lead they would not relinquish. Price would score a total of 10 points in overtime, giving the Trojans the 92-83 win.
THE PLAYER
Josh Price led the Trojans with 24 points, including 10 in overtime, six rebounds, and two assists. The junior shot 8-13 from the field, and three of five from the 3-point line, while making all five of his free throws.
Miguel Williams added 18 points shooting 8-11 from the field, with two rebounds and an assist.
Chris Rogers contributed 15 points.
THE TEAM
Trevecca shot 52.1% (37-71) from the field, hit 31.6% (6-19) from deep, and were 66.7% (12-18) from the line.
Birmingham Southern shot 42% (26-69) from the field. They also hit 47.1% (16-34) from range and were 69.2% (9-13) shooters at the foul line.
