ASHLAND, Ohio - The Trevecca Nazarene University women's soccer team (9-7-4), the fourth-seed in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship were eliminated in the Great Midwest semifinals, 1-0, at top-seed Ashland University (14-1-3). The Trojans finished the Great Midwest season 8-4-2.

THE SERIES
This is the third all-time meeting between the two schools in women's soccer. This is the first season for the Eagles in the Great Midwest. They claimed the regular season meeting 4-1. The two schools met in 2019, a 1-1 tie. With the win today, the Eagle's edge in the series is now 2-0-1.
THE MATCH
The Trojans had the first two shots of the match, one on goal. From there the Eagles produced five shots, three on goal. The match remained scoreless until Tori Baker scored a goal for the home team on a penalty kick at 30:38. The Eagles had the edge 4-0 on corners while Trojans had nine foul calls come their way to six for Ashland.
In the second frame Ashland outshot Trevecca 7-1 and 4-1 on goal. Neither team could solve the others defense for a goal and the match ended with the same score as at the half.

SEASON NOTES
Delayna Holman stands alone in second place all-time with 19 career shutouts in the NCAA era. Only Liz Denton owns more with her 22 career shutouts.
Holman is also the second-winningest keeper in the NCAA era with 28 wins.
Alson in the NCAA era, Holman's 335 career saves are the most in program history. Holman has a 1.21 GAA this season, and her career mark is 1.02 GAA.
Trevecca's 4-0 start in the conference this year is the best in program history. In addition, the 5-2-1 overall start of the season also was the best in program history.
The eight conference wins are the third-most in program history. Cameron led the team to 11 Great Midwest wins in 2018, and Mark Foster led the Trojans to 11 in 2016.
Katelyn Keogh led the team with seven goals and tied Abbigail Legg with 16 points.
Abbigail Legg and Makena Schlosser each added six goals.
Abbigail Legg has 11 career goals, eight career assists, and 30 career points. In the NCAA era, Legg is ranked eighth in points and goals and seventh in assists.
Makena Schlosser has 18 career goals, five career assists, and 41 career points. In the NCAA era, Schlosser is ranked fourth in points and fifth in goals.
Danyel Joy and Abbigail Legg tied for the team lead with four assists each.
Makena Schlosser finished third with 12 points.
