Box Score NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (18-8, 9-5 Great Midwest) extended its winning streak to six against Kentucky Wesleyan College (2-23, 0-14 Great Midwest) in a 3-0 sweep (25-11, 25-21, 25-7) at Trojan Fieldhouse on Wednesday.

THE SERIES
The Trojans and Panthers met with the all-time series lead still favoring Kentucky Wesleyan, 19-12. The Trojans won the earlier meeting this season 3-1.
MATCH DETAILS
The Trojans started the game on fire. Beginning the first set with a 10-3 run highlighted by a Claire Hindman service ace and an emphatic kill by Austyn Baldwin. The Trojans responded to each of the three points very quickly during the run, forcing the Panthers to take their first timeout. Following the timeout, the Trojans went on a 10-4 run that included a service ace by Maddie Wilds and a service error by Kentucky Wesleyan. The set ended on a 5-4 run punctuated by Austyn Baldwin's set clinching kill. The Panthers resisted late in the set, but the Trojans handled the pressure and finished off 25-11.
SET TWO
Kentucky Wesleyan kept the momentum they had built up at the end of the first set, playing a lot more competitively to start the second set. The two teams traded points until the Trojans had a 13-8. Kentucky Wesleyan took their first timeout, as the score was tied 7-7, to regroup. The Panthers went on a 5-2 run following the timeout to bring the game to within two points. The Trojans led 15-13. But some costly attacking errors gave the Trojans back the momentum as they went on a 5-1 run that forced out the Panther's second timeout. A 5-1 run followed the timeout as Kentucky Wesleyan cut their deficit to two points. But a service error by the Panthers gave set point to the Trojans, and they would finish off the set 25-21.
SET THREE
Trevecca came out of the gates hot to start the third set going on an 11-4 run capped off by back-to-back attack errors by Kentucky Wesleyan, who promptly took their first timeout. The timeout only helped the Trojans as they responded with an 11-1 run. The Trojans hit very well during the run, finishing off the set with a block at the net and an error by the Panthers. The Trojans took the third set 25-7.
TOP PLAYERS
Claire Hindman had a service ace and 11 digs, which made her second on the NCAA era career digs list, passing Kristen Johnson. Ellie Buffler led the Trojans with 10 kills, two assists, and six digs while hitting .263.
THE TEAMS
The Trojans hit .388 (35K, 9E, 67TA) for the match. Trevecca had 31 assists, 38 digs, and six service aces while hitting a match-best .478 in the first set.

The Trojans finish the regular season on the road against Tiffin University (11-17, 5-9 Great Midwest) on Friday the 12th at 6:00, and Ashland University (15-12, 11-3 Great Midwest) on Saturday at noon.
