THE SERIES
With the win, the Trojans sweep the Yellow Jackets in the regular season series having already taken down Cedarville in their September match. Cedarville leads 16-6, but Trevecca has won the previous two meetings.
MATCH DETAILS
In what quickly became a back and forth battle between longtime G-MAC rivals, the opening set would not disappoint. The Trojans and Yellow Jackets played to 13 ties with the lead changing sides as many times. The difference came late, however. Trailing 20-18, the Trojans surrendered just a single point the rest of the game, winning 25-21 in the first.
SET TWO
The Yellow Jackets responded in the second with early 5-2 and 8-5 advantages, but the Trojans fought back to a 10-10 tie. Three straight Trojan points opened up a 14-11 lead and caused Cedarville to call its first timeout. The hot streak was halted, but only momentarily as the Yellow Jackets led 20-19. The set turned off an Austyn Baldwin kill to tie it at 20-20. From there, a McDaniel kill and a Yellow Jacket attack error forced Cedarville to call its second timeout (22-20), but the damage was already done. Out of the break, both squads got two points, but it was Trevecca who claimed the set win, 25-23.
SET THREE
The third set was only close through the first eight points. The Yellow Jackets took their only lead of the game by securing the opening point, but it was all Trevecca from there. With two sets in hand, the Trojans behind three kills apiece from Ellie Buffler and Sami Raley, went on to sweep Cedarville, 25-17.

Chloee McDaniel nearly recorded her second consecutive triple-double by putting up seven kills, 11 digs, and 28 assists. For the match, McDaniel hit .462 to help the Trojans to a sweep.
