Despite a combined 13 shots by both squads in the match's opening 30 minutes, neither team would concede … after earning a trip inside the box, Montevallo's Samara Lino missed a penalty kick off the post at 33:15 … the score remained 0-0 at halftime … the second half saw much of the same style of play … both keepers were tested, though neither conceded … Makena Schlosser (SO/Indianapolis, IN) drew a penalty kick at 86:23 but the shot was saved by Montevallo keeper, Annie Mason … Mason was the difference for the rest of the match as the 0-0 score held through 110 minutes.

WOMAN OF THE MATCH
Trevecca keeper, Delayna Holman (SO/Shepherdsville, KY) stopped all eight shots she faced tonight. The sophomore collected nine clean sheets last season.
